Food processors now take much of the hard work out preparing food by chopping, grating, mixing and blending in seconds.

Food processors vary from one manufacturer to another but usually include most or all of the following.

1. Processor bowl and lid with feed tube.

2. Pusher for feed tube

3. Double-Bladed metal knife

4. Dough blade and/or plastic mixing blade

5. Slicing disc

6. Grating disc

7. Whisk

Optional extras include gadgets such as citrus juicers, vegetable and fruit juice extractors and pasta makers.
